Family routine app
Mornings, made for
your family.
The family routine app built for the parent who also has ADHD. Visual schedules for kids. Real-time caregiver sync. No streaks, no punishment.
The problem
You installed something. You set it up. By week two, you were the app.
Joon, Brili, Cozi, Goally, a whiteboard, and Alexa. If you have ADHD yourself — and nearly a third of ADHD parents do — you know the pattern: you build the system, you maintain the system, you remind your kids to use the system. The app never actually carried the load.
"The interface is very frustrating and difficult to navigate for simple things like assigning times. As a parent with ADHD, it takes too much focus to benefit from, so I won't be renewing."
— AuDHD parent, Joon App Store review
Tend was built from the ground up for the parent who is also wired differently. Setup under 8 minutes. One-tap edits. A kid-facing side that requires zero reading and never punishes a missed step. And real-time sync so both caregivers are on the same page without both being in the same room.
How Tend is different
Built for the family nobody else built for.
Three things no other family routine app does together.
Built for the parent who has ADHD
Every setup step, every edit, every notification is designed for the parent on their worst executive-function morning. No sustained administrator mindset required. Setup is under 8 minutes. Edits cost one tap. The daily routine runs itself once you've configured it — so you stop being the app.
No streaks. No punishment.
Missed a step? Tomorrow the routine is there again, exactly as calm as yesterday. Tend never shows a broken streak, a red X, or a "you broke your record" message. For kids who have learned that productivity apps mean punishment, positive-only celebration is not optional — it's the point. No gamification that only works for neurotypical kids.
Two-caregiver sync, built in
When your partner takes the morning shift, they don't need to ask what's supposed to happen — Tend already told them. Both parents see the same routines and real-time progress on their own phones. Invite a co-parent, grandparent, or regular caregiver with one link. No shared device, no re-setup, no playing telephone.
What kids see
Two taps. One step at a time. No reading required.
Tend's kid mode is a full-screen card stack of visual icons — brush teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast. No text menus, no buried settings. Your child taps the card when done, and both caregivers get a real-time update. Big touch targets for little fingers. Positive-only celebration when the routine is complete.
What parents see
Calm clarity, not constant checking.
Your dashboard shows each step the moment it's tapped done. Your partner sees the same thing on their phone. No shouting across the house.

A PLAYRIOT app
Made by people who live this.
Tend is part of the AI App Nation portfolio by PLAYRIOT — a small studio shipping focused apps for real problems. We built Tend because the parent who needs this most is also the one least served by every app in the category. If calm mornings feel possible, we did our job.
Questions
FAQ
- How is Tend different from Joon, Brili, or Tiimo?
- Joon is gamified chores — quest coins that work for neurotypical kids and break for everyone else. Brili has been promising a family sync mode for over a decade. Tiimo is excellent for solo adult ADHD but has no parent visibility into a child's routine. Tend is built specifically for the household where the parent is also AuDHD — it's the only app in the category where both the parent UX and the kid UX are designed for neurodivergent users simultaneously, with real-time sync between every caregiver's phone.
- Is Tend for autism or ADHD or both?
- Both, and the distinction matters less than the need: visual routines, icon-based steps, no punishment for missed tasks, and low-friction parent setup. Tend was built for AuDHD households — families where parent and child may have overlapping or co-occurring diagnoses. It is not a clinical tool and does not claim to treat any condition.
- Is there an Android version?
- Tend launches on iPhone first. We chose iOS to ship a polished, reliable product — not a rushed cross-platform port. Android is a real priority and we will announce a timeline once the iOS version is in early access. If you are Android-only, let us know — it helps us prioritize.
- Does my child need their own phone?
- No. Tend works great on a shared family iPhone, or on an iPad left in the kitchen. Kid mode locks with Face ID or Touch ID so your child cannot exit to settings or other apps — no dedicated device required. A dedicated device is supported if you have one, but it is not the assumption.
- Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
- Yes. Tend is a standard App Store subscription — cancel at any time from your iPhone Settings. Your routines and family data remain intact for the billing period. After cancellation, the app continues to work for the core routine flow; caregiver sync and multi-kid features require an active subscription.
- Is my family's data safe?
- Tend stores family routine data on a private server (not sold, not shared, not used for advertising). We follow Apple's App Store privacy guidelines. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.
